This place is very serious about coffee though I think it is well deserved. I’ve had several coffees now and have enjoyed them all. I thought the long black was good and not bitter and cafe latte delicious. I was a little taken back on the lack of coffee sizes but I think that is down to art and science of making the right coffe. I’ve been told this by a barrista before regarding long blacks. The waiting time for a coffee can get ridiculous, but many wait as they are addicted to their coffee.

Hi Samantha. I’m so sorry you had a negative experience, especially at a coffee place I recommended! It’s good to get some feedback though, be it positive or negative.

I noticed as well that they have renovated recently, it seems like they’re trying to expand their coffee serving business a bit, so maybe that’s had an impact as well.

I also had no idea they only sell one size of coffee. I don’t generally get takeaways and I’m starting to wonder if I should rock up with some kind of checklist for my readers – how many cup sizes do you have, do have equal, will you have a hissy fit if I ask for sugar?

I think I will go back and give them another try. It’s been a while.

I went there recently on a Saturday morning just before midday. I do not know what the fuss was all about. Issues I had:

1. I had to wait some 15-20 mins to get my coffee -thinking all this time that it had better be worth the wait. They had only one barista on. At least at Campos they know how to be quick and efficient. This coffee shop has yet to learn this.

2. They only sold one size cup coffee

When I did get the coffee I was not impressed. I have tasted better coffee else where. I think people come to this coffee shop just to say how trendy they are and how they are coffee fans.

Would not go again.
